Our Confirmation program is a two-year program and is open to all High School students who will be at least 16 years of age by their Confirmation date.

However, students who are seeking to be confirmed in the Spring of 2020, must participate in our High School Ministry for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years, as well as the additional Confirmation sessions in the during the 2019-20 school year.  Confirmation candidates must spend two years in preparation in order to be confirmed.

As of Fall 2018, our Confirmation program is comprised of weekly High School Ministry Youth Nights (Wednesdays 7-8:30pm), five monthly Mass & Service events known as SECOND SUNDAY, team building activities, service projects, and a retreat to help prepare the youth for this wonderful sacrament.

The Sacrament of Confirmation Mass will be held before Lent 2019 (late-February or early-March)

The sacrament of Confirmation is the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the apostles on the day of Pentecost. Confirmation bring an increase and deepening of baptismal grace: it unites us more firmly to Christ, it increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit (wisdom, understanding, right judgment, courage, knowledge, reverence and awe)  in us, it renders our bond with the Church more perfect, it gives us a special strength of the Holy Spirit to spread and defend the faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ, to confess the name of Christ boldly, and never to be ashamed of the Cross.
